Mad Experiments: Escape Room is a multiplayer narrative escape game made for advanced players. Alone or with teammates, you have 60 minutes to explore, solve, and escape! Urnique Studio, the indie developer behind global hit time manipulation puzzle game Timelie, today announced that the game has officially released on Steam for Mac OS 10.12 and higher, and now features 8 new supported languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish, and Russian.

Not a Mac user, but from what I know the Mac version is planned, as you mentioned in the FAQ - there's also an Apple logo at the very bottom of the EfT website and on the BSG website - which makes sense, as the Unity engine is multiplatform. However, as you mentioned the official version is scheduled until after the release.
